Design considerations for air filtration systems

1. The whole system should be designed with full consideration of the process requirements of the clean room, and meet in time;

2. Reasonably set up the system in the new return air mixing section, primary filtration section, heating and humidification section, fan section, intermediate filtration section, air supply section, and other different functional sections, especially paying attention to the design of the exhaust air to achieve effective measures to prevent the backflow of outdoor air;

3. By the needs of the process, the design of the table cooling section, heating, and humidifying section should be fully considered when the corresponding external resources supply, such as refrigerant water, steam supply, and humidification should use a dry steam humidifier, etc.;

4. Note that the two ends of the primary and secondary filters should be set up with wind resistance differential pressure indicating device, and kept in a fixed position;

5. The air conditioning units and air ducts in the system must be fully considered when designing and selecting the safety and fire resistance;

6. Pay attention to the air supply volume of the system according to the different levels of cleanliness;

7. Note that the total air supply volume of the non-unidirectional flow clean room should be kept between 10% - 30%;

8. Need to compensate the indoor exhaust air volume at the appropriate time to maintain the positive indoor pressure;

9. According to the number of indoor personnel to choose the required fresh air volume, generally according to 40M3/hour per person to calculate;

10. When the system needs to take sound insulation, vibration isolation, and other control, pay attention to the noise control design can not affect the purification conditions;

11. Air purification treatment should be used when the primary, medium, and high-efficiency filters are used at the same time;

12. The local exhaust device in the system should be designed in such a way that the system chain operation is adopted to avoid airflow disorder and pollution.
