What is the biggest difference between a medium efficiency filter and a primary filter?

Because of environmental pollution, all aspects of people's lives will use air filters, to avoid blockage of high-efficiency filters, before its use to the primary and medium-effect two kinds of filters, but how to distinguish between the primary filter and the medium-effect filter?

1. Different precision: high-efficiency filters have the highest precision, medium-efficiency filters have the middle precision, and primary filters have the lowest precision.

2. Different installation position: filters are configured in combination with the principle of "coarse first and then fine", and the order cannot be reversed, with the primary filter in the front, the medium-effect filter in the middle, and the high-efficiency filter in the back.

The difference in style, material, and filtration accuracy of the primary and secondary filters is as follows

The primary filter is used for the primary filtration of air-conditioning systems and belongs to the G series, mainly used for filtering dust particles above 5μm. There are common keel types and folding types, outer frame materials are the paper frame, aluminum frame, galvanized iron frame, stainless steel outer frame, etc., and filter materials are non-woven fabric, nylon net, activated carbon filter material, metal hole net, etc. Suitable for the primary filter of air conditioning system: such as pre-filter of central air conditioning and centralized ventilation system, pre-filter of inlet air of gas machine compressor.

Medium efficiency filters are F series filters in the air filter, commonly used in plate and bag type, including F5 ~ F9 level. It is mainly used for filtering dust particles of 0.5μm, with the characteristics of small resistance and large air volume. It is suitable for the main filter of central air conditioning and centralized ventilation systems, and the secondary pre-filter of purified air conditioning systems. This kind of filter is widely used and is a product with a large amount of modern industrial and civil ventilation systems.

The difference in filtration efficiency between primary and secondary filters.

The filtration efficiency level of the primary filter is divided into G1 (65), G2 (65-80), G3 (80-90), and G4 (90);

The filtration efficiency level of the medium efficiency filter is divided into: F5(40-60), F6(60-80), F7(80-90), and F8(90-95).

Note: The filtration efficiency of the primary filter is based on the weighting method: the filtration efficiency of the intermediate filter is based on the colorimetric method.
