What is a pass box?

The pass box is a kind of auxiliary equipment for clean rooms.
It is mainly used for the transfer of small items between clean areas and clean areas, and between clean areas and non-clean areas, to reduce the number of times the clean room is opened, and to reduce the pollution of the clean room to a minimum. The transfer window is made of stainless steel plate, smooth and clean. The double doors are interlocked to effectively prevent cross-contamination, with electronic or mechanical interlocking devices and equipped with UV sterilization lamps.

Pass box are widely used in microtechnology, biological laboratories, pharmaceutical plants, hospitals, food processing industries, LCDs, electronics plants, and other places where air purification is required.

Pass box are divided into three main categories.

3、Self-cleaning transfer window
According to the working principle, the transfer window can be divided into air shower type transfer window and common transfer window, laminar flow transfer window. Various types of transfer windows can be made according to actual requirements. Optional accessories: intercom, germicidal lamp, and other relevant functional accessories.

Mechanical interlocking device: The internal interlocking is achieved mechanically, when one door is opened, the other door cannot be opened and the other door must be closed before the other door can be opened.

Electronic interlocking device:The internal use of integrated circuits, electromagnetic locks, control panels, indicators, etc. to achieve interlocking, when one of the doors is open, the other door open indicator light does not light up to inform this door can not be opened, while the electromagnetic lock action to achieve interlocking. When this door is closed, the electromagnetic lock of the other door starts to work, while the indicator light will glow, indicating that the other door can be opened.
