What instrumentation is needed for clean room engineering testing

Clean rooms are the foundation of contamination control. In FED-STD-2, a clean room is defined as a room with air filtration, distribution, optimization, construction materials, and devices in which specific rules and procedures are in place to control the concentration of suspended particles in the air to achieve the appropriate level of particle cleanliness. A clean room is a room where airborne particles, hazardous air, bacteria, and other contaminants are eliminated from the air within a certain space.

All countries in the world have their specifications, but generally based on the federal standard 209E, 1992, can be divided into six levels. They are 1, 10, 100 level, 1000 level, 10000 level, and 100000 level if only the clean room dust amount is accounted for, you can assume that the size of the dust particles of 0.5 μm, for example, 1, 10, 100 level clean room large dust particles less than or equal to the number of 1, 10 days, 100 years, if the size of the dust particles is not 0.5 μm, clean room level should be in a particular If the dust particle size is not 0.5μm, the cleanroom level should be in a specific range of dust particle sizes. For example, a size of 10 is 0.2 μm and 1 is 0.1 μm.

Instrumentation for clean room engineering can be classified into three categories. They are product quality testing instruments, measurement performance testing instruments, and safety performance testing instruments.

The main instruments and meters used in the clean room are an air-floating particle sizer, air-floating bacterial sampler, constant temperature and humidity box, differential pressure meter, anemometer, anemometer, illuminance meter, sound level meter, thermometer, hygrometer, barometer and so on.

The main instrumentation of the clean room project is tested as follows:

1. Safety performance testing is required for testing, it is not only related to the safety of the clean room but also related to the safety of the personnel general safety indicators can be detected on their own, and special safety indicators need to be tested by professionals.

2. Product quality testing needs to detect all the technical requirements of the instrumentation, mainly for the purchase of acceptance testing, can be self-tested, and can also be entrusted to third-party testing. Detection of the main basis for the manufacturer's corporate standards.

3. For the measurement of performance testing, if you are not prepared to use the instrument's measured data to issue a report to the outside world, you can test your own, you can also commission a third-party test; if you need to use the instrument's measured data to issue a report to the outside world, you need to commission a measurement technology agency calibration, and issue a certificate of calibration.
