What factors affect the efficiency of an air filter?

For electronics, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, food, and other industries, the air conditioning box high-efficiency filter can play an end filtration role, playing an important role in the purification system, what are the factors that affect the efficiency of the operating room air filter?

Compared with the primary and secondary filters, the filter fibers of the operating room air filter are dense and can trap dust particles below 0.3μm. When the airflow in motion encounters the filter material of a high-efficiency filter, the airflow bypasses between the fibers and at the same time creates a certain air resistance at wind speed.

One of the more common ways of controlling air resistance is to replace the HEPA filter regularly when the filter reaches a certain resistance value, to avoid high air resistance affecting the overall filtration efficiency.

In the case of low wind speed, the airflow in the air conditioning box of each level of the filter stays longer, and dust particles and other impurities will have more opportunities to be intercepted by the corresponding level of the filter, so in most cases, the wind speed is also one of the factors affecting the efficiency of the air conditioning box filter, and the lower the wind speed, the higher the filtration efficiency.

According to the above factors, we should choose the right product according to the actual demand when purchasing and maintaining high-efficiency filters.
