What are the factors that can affect a high efficiency air filter?

1: Filter bag material


The choice and application of filter bag material is the core technology of bag-type dust collection equipment, which plays a decisive role in the performance of high-efficiency air filter dust collectors. Due to the environment of each dust collection point, the nature, temperature, and technical requirements of handling dust are different, different filter materials should be selected for different conditions and corresponding technical protection measures should be taken. Requirements for filter bag materials include the following technical properties: filter bag materials for different temperatures, good stripping, easy to clear ash, good permeability, low resistance, high filtration efficiency, high strength, can withstand high strength ash cleaning, long service life, suitable price.


2: Air leakage


Air leakage directly affects the dust collection effect and life of the dust collector, requiring an air leakage rate of less than three percent. Bag-type dust collectors are generally operated under negative pressure, so air leakage can easily form a small circuit short circuit. The dust collection system does not handle enough air and forms positive-pressure dust. Air leakage will also lower the system temperature, make it easier for the bags to be damped, increase the dust collection resistance and reduce the filtering effect of high-efficiency filter equipment.


3: Filtration air speed


High-efficiency air filter filtration airspeed is a very important parameter to determine the performance of the dust collector and is also an important parameter to measure the advancement of the bag-type dust collector. The filtration air speed is closely related to the dust concentration of the dust-containing gas, dust particle size, application, viscosity, gas temperature, moisture content, and dust cleaning method. When the dust particle size is fine, the temperature and humidity are high, the concentration is large and the viscosity is large, the filter airspeed should be taken as low, and vice versa for high values. If the filtering airspeed is too large, it will increase the load of the filter bag, and increase the filtering resistance, resulting in the short service life of the filter bag, and low efficiency.
