What affects the efficiency of air filter use?

I. Air resistance: Compared to the primary and secondary filters, the filter fibers of the workshop air filter are dense and can trap dust particles below 0.3μm. When the airflow in motion encounters the filter material of the high-efficiency filter, the airflow is bypassed between the fibers and at the same time a certain air resistance is generated at wind speed. The higher the air resistance, the lower the airflow will be at the same airspeed, so to ensure the efficiency of the air conditioning box, the air resistance in the box needs to be controlled.

One of the more common practices to control air resistance is to regularly replace the high-efficiency filters to avoid high air resistance affecting the overall filtration efficiency.

II, wind speed: in the case of low wind speed, air flow in the air conditioning box of each level of the filter network stays longer. Dust particles and other impurities will have more opportunities to be intercepted by the corresponding level of filter, so in most cases, the wind speed is also one of the factors affecting the filter efficiency of the air conditioning box, and the lower the wind speed, the higher the filtration efficiency.

III. Filtration area: There are many factors influencing the filtration efficiency of workshop air filters, such as air resistance, air flow star, airflow velocity, etc. can be counted as external factors, while from the inside, the overall filtration effect still depends on the size of the area of the high-efficiency filter.
