Types of HEPA box

(I) Side-type hepa box
Side-type air outlets are horizontal air outlets with the characteristics of long-range, sufficient jet temperature, and large velocity attenuation. Common forms include grille air outlets, single-layer louver air outlets, double-layer louver air outlets, three-layer louver air outlets, strip air outlets with air supply baffles and strip air outlets. Among them, grille air outlets are widely used and are mostly used in general air conditioning projects; single-layer louver air outlets can adjust the air supply angle according to the hot and cold jets; the inner layer of the double-layer louver air outlet adjusts the air volume and the outer layer adjusts the air supply angle, which is suitable for air conditioning projects with higher precision requirements; the three-layer louver air outlet has a more powerful adjustment function and is suitable for air conditioning projects with higher precision requirements. Side air outlets can be used for most comfort air conditioners and are suitable for general precision civil buildings and industrial workshops.
(II) Diffusers
The diffuser is installed on the ceiling and has a good spray diffusion effect. There are two ways of air supply: horizontal air supply and downward air supply. The horizontal air supply method is widely used in large spaces such as shopping malls and restaurants, while the downward air supply method is suitable for parallel-flow air-conditioned rooms with small working areas and large building heights. Diffusers are available in round and square shapes and are made of aluminum alloy, plastic, plastic steel, stainless steel, etc. They are suitable for conference rooms, offices, and other places with suspended ceilings and uniform flow fields.
(III) Orifice  hepa box
The orifice plate air supply port is a plate with multiple circular or slit-shaped holes. The air enters the room through the orifice plate, and the jet diffusion mixing effect is good, the mixing process is short, the temperature and speed decay quickly, the temperature and speed distribution in the working area are uniform, and the regional temperature difference is small. For the strict requirements on regional temperature difference and wind speed in the working area, the air supply per unit area is relatively large, and the allowable room temperature fluctuation range is small. For air-conditioned rooms with high requirements for constant temperature and purification, such as clean rooms and laboratories, it is advisable to use the orifice plate air supply method.
(IV) Jet-type hepa box
The jet-type air outlet has a long range, a simple system, and a relatively low investment. It is suitable for large buildings with high space such as gymnasiums, theaters, waiting rooms (airports), and industrial plants, and can generally meet the comfort conditions of the work area.
(V) Swirl-type hepa box
The swirl-type air outlet can deliver a rotating jet, which has the characteristics of a large induction ratio and fast wind speed decay. It is divided into manual swirl-type air outlet, electric swirl-type air outlet, and temperature-controlled (temperature-sensing) swirl-type air outlet. It is suitable for public places with large floor heights such as industrial plants, airports, and theaters. It can also be installed in indoor places with a floor height of ≥3.80m such as conference rooms. The application effect is better in large spaces and occasions where the cold jet of air supply needs to decay quickly.
