(I) Material selection
The high-quality stainless steel materials commonly used in stainless steel wardrobes in hospitals are mainly 304 and 316 stainless steel. 304 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and mechanical properties, can remain stable in most environments, and is relatively affordable. 316 stainless steel performs better in corrosion resistance, especially in chlorine-containing environments, such as the disinfection area of ​​the hospital, and can effectively resist the erosion of chloride ions, but the cost is relatively high. Both materials are non-toxic, pollution-free, and easy to clean, making them very suitable for the special environment of the hospital.
(II) Process steps
1. Cutting
Cutting is the first step in making a stainless steel wardrobe. First, select the appropriate stainless steel sheet according to the design requirements and actual size. Then, use professional cutting equipment, such as a cutting saw, to accurately cut the sheet to ensure the size is accurate. During the cutting process, pay attention to controlling the cutting speed and force to avoid deformation or edge collapse of the sheet.
2. Edge banding
Edge banding protects the edge of the sheet and improves its aesthetics and durability. Common edge sealing methods include hot melt edge sealing and moisture curing edge sealing. Hot melt edge sealing requires the edge banding strip to be bonded to the edge of the board with hot melt glue. During the operation, the temperature and amount of glue must be controlled to ensure that the edge sealing is firm. Moisture curing edge sealing uses moisture to solidify the glue, which is more stable and has a more beautiful edge sealing effect. After edge sealing, the edges should be trimmed to make them flat and smooth.
3. Punching
Punching is used to install hardware accessories and connectors. Before punching, it is necessary to determine the hole position according to the design drawing and use professional drilling equipment, such as a drilling machine. The edge of the hole should be neat and free of cracks, and the size and position of the hole should be accurate to ensure the smooth progress of subsequent assembly.
4. Welding
The cut boards are welded and assembled. During the welding process, it is necessary to ensure that the welding points are firm, without false welding or leaking welding, and at the same time, it is necessary to control welding deformation to ensure the overall structure of the wardrobe is stable.
5. Surface treatment
Surface treatment includes polishing, sandblasting, electrophoresis, and other methods to make the surface of the wardrobe smooth, beautiful, and easy to clean. Pay attention to uniformity during processing to avoid color differences and defects.
6. Assembly
Assemble the various parts and install hardware accessories such as handles, hinges, locks, etc. After assembly, check to ensure that the wardrobe can be used smoothly without looseness, abnormal noise, etc.
