Stainless steel filtration equipment performance testing steps detailed

I. Firstly. First of all, you can visually check whether there are any defects, cracks, and holes in the filter media, and check whether the combined parts such as the corners of the frame are sealed and whether there are gaps, etc. Only filters that have passed the test can be used.

II. Determine the direction of airflow of the filter under test according to the direction indicated by the arrow, and see if its upper and lower positions are correct.

III. Start the fan of the testing equipment and adjust the inverter of the fan and the valve at the end of the air duct so that the air volume in the air duct can reach the air volume required for the test.

IV. Adjust the temperature in the entire system to reach (23±5)°C and relative humidity of approximately 75%.

Before the official test is carried out, the following equipment parameters need to be set.

I. Optical particle count rate: The background count rate should be checked by measuring the particle count concentration downstream of the equipment with the generator and filter in place.

II. Cleanliness of the air: the cleanliness of the air should be checked by testing the particle count concentration upstream with the generator switched off.

III. Upstream and downstream sampling: With the generator switched on, the particle count concentrations upstream and downstream of the equipment should be measured separately to calculate the correlation coefficient criteria for upstream and downstream sampling.
