Performance and technical requirements for laminar flow transfer windows

Speaking of transfer windows, there are many products in the purification industry, generally clean transfer windows, air shower transfer windows, laminar flow transfer windows, etc. We use laminar flow transfer windows more often in medical or pharmaceutical laboratories. So what kind of purification equipment is a laminar flow transfer window?

Laminar flow transfer windows, in different unit expressions, are also called Class 100 laminar flow transfer cabinets and laminar flow transfer boxes. Their purification level can generally reach Class 100 purification effects. It is a new type of clean transfer window. Its principle is that after the air is initially filtered, it is pressed into the static pressure box by a low-noise centrifugal fan, and further filtered by a high-efficiency filter. It passes through the working area at a uniform pressure and uniform wind speed to form a high-cleanliness working environment.

Laminar flow transfer windows are auxiliary equipment for clean rooms. They are used to transfer small items between clean areas and clean intervals, and between clean areas and non-clean areas, to reduce the number of times the clean room door is opened and minimize the pollution to the clean room. Electronic interlocking is often used to achieve interlocking, effectively preventing cross-contamination. The main structures such as ultraviolet sterilization lamps are configured in the box.

There are some basic requirements for the performance of laminar flow transfer windows. According to the long-term production type of Zhongjing Purification Institute, its specific requirements are as follows:

1. The box body is made of a double-layer stainless steel shell, with arc treatment around the inside to ensure seamless connection, non-square tube panel splicing, integrated door structure, embedded door to reduce dust accumulation, embedded sealing strip;

2. Adopt laminar flow design, air flow direction adopts up-send and down-return mode laminar air supply;

3. Cleanliness: Internal cleanliness is required to reach Class A, Class 100 cleanliness, and the cleanliness efficiency reaches 99.999%@0.5μm;

4. Control function: Equipped with intelligent touch screen control panel, automatic operation, automatic mode/manual mode, which can be flexibly set according to usage needs Cleaning time and sterilization time, set ultraviolet sterilization lamp, design a separate switch;

5. Detection port: There are 2 PAO test ports on the upper part of the box, which is convenient for high-efficiency filter detection;

6. Filter: It adopts a liquid tank type high-efficiency filter, which has higher sealing, adopts H14, and the filter paper uses American Hayes (HV) filter paper;

7. Wind speed: After passing through the high-efficiency filter, the wind speed is controlled at 0.36-0.54m/s, and stabilized at 0.45m/s±20%;

8. Pressure difference function: Display filter pressure difference (range high efficiency 0-500Pa/medium efficiency 0-250Pa), accuracy ±5Pa;

9. Noise: Noise <65db during normal operation;

10. Air outlet equalizer: 304 stainless steel mesh plate is used to evenly supply air.
