Maintenance points of the clean bench

Maintenance points of the clean bench

(I) Daily maintenance
After using the clean bench each time, wipe the surface of the bench with a soft cloth and dry it with a clean cloth to ensure that the surface is dry and clean. At the same time, the clean bench should be placed in a place with good sanitary conditions and easy to clean, and the doors and windows can be sealed to avoid the impact of external polluted air on the room. This can reduce the entry of dust and impurities into the bench and maintain its internal cleanliness.
(II) Regular maintenance
Regularly clean or replace the filter material in the primary filter: According to the cleanliness of the environment, the filter material (non-woven fabric) in the primary filter is generally removed and cleaned every 3-6 months. When the filter material is blackened due to dust, it should generally be cleaned or replaced. The primary filter is generally replaced every 3 weeks to 2 months. The primary filter is an important barrier to block large particles of dust. Timely cleaning or replacement can ensure the quality of the incoming air.
Sterilize the environment and clean the UV lamp: Sterilize the environment regularly (usually once a week) and frequently clean the UV lamp with gauze dipped in alcohol or acetone and other organic solvents to avoid affecting the sterilization effect. UV lamps can effectively kill microorganisms and keep the working environment sterile, and cleaning the UV lamps can ensure that their sterilization effect is not affected.
Measure the cleanliness of the clean area and replace the failed high-efficiency filter: Regularly (usually twice a month) use a dust particle counter to measure the cleanliness of the clean area purified by this product. When the measured cleanliness does not meet the required cleanliness, the cause should be found out (whether there is a leak, whether the high-efficiency filter is invalid, etc.). If the high-efficiency filter has expired, a new high-efficiency filter should be replaced. The high-efficiency filter without partition is generally changed once every 1-2 years. When the dust particles are blocked, the wind speed is reduced, and the sterile operation cannot be guaranteed, the high-efficiency filter must be replaced.
Check the condition of the fan and perform maintenance when necessary: Although the fan does not require special maintenance, it is best to perform a regular inspection. The fan is one of the core components of the clean bench. Ensuring its normal operation is essential to maintaining the purification effect of the bench.
(III) Maintenance in special situations
For newly installed or long-unused benches, they must be cleaned and sterilized before use. They can be cleaned with an ultra-quiet vacuum cleaner or a tool that does not produce fibers and then sterilized with a drug sterilization method or ultraviolet sterilization method. This ensures that the bench is sterile when in use, providing a reliable environment for experiments and work.
