Maintenance of HEPA box

Maintenance of HEPA box

Maintenance of the HEPA box is crucial. It not only ensures the normal operation of the HEPA box but also prolongs its service life and provides a continuous high-quality air environment for the room.
(I) Importance of Maintenance
As a key component of the ventilation system, air outlets may accumulate dust and impurities if they are not maintained for a long time, affecting the air supply quality and increasing energy consumption. At the same time, aging and damage of components may cause failures, affecting the operating efficiency and stability of the entire air conditioning system.
(II) Maintenance cycle
Generally speaking, for common HEPA boxes, such as those installed in ordinary indoor environments, it is recommended to perform comprehensive maintenance every six months.
For places with extremely high air quality requirements such as clean rooms, air outlets in Class D areas should be cleaned and disinfected once a week, and Class C and Class A air outlets below Class C should be cleaned and disinfected once every three days.
If the air outlet is used frequently, the environment is harsh or there are abnormal conditions, the maintenance cycle should be shortened.
(III) Maintenance method
Regularly clean the air outlet, including the surface, interior, and filter. You can use a soft brush, vacuum cleaner, and clean fiber-free fabric for cleaning.
Check the pressure difference of the filter regularly. When the pressure difference of the coarse filter is greater than 250Pa, the pressure difference of the medium filter is greater than 350Pa, and the pressure difference of the sub-filter is greater than 400Pa, they should be replaced in time.
Check the sealing status between the air outlet and the wall or ceiling. If there is a leak, the sealing strip should be repaired or replaced in time.
For air outlets that need to be used in high humidity and high-temperature environments, the filters and frame materials should be checked regularly to ensure that they can adapt to special environments.
(IV) Common fault handling
Filter leakage: It may cause the cleanliness of the clean room to fail to meet the standard. The filter should be replaced in time.
Air duct blockage or regulating valve failure: Clean the air duct or replace the regulating valve.
The working noise of the air outlet is too loud: It may be a fan failure or loose impeller, which needs to be checked and replaced or tightened.
Air outlet system failure: It may be a control system circuit or sensor failure, which needs to be checked and replaced or repaired in time.
The air outlet cannot start normally: First, check the host setting program. If the host to the module end can be used normally, it may be that the air valve mechanism is damaged. Replace it and then start.
In short, regular and correct maintenance of the air outlet can effectively avoid malfunctions, ensure its normal operation, and create a comfortable indoor environment for us.
