I. The principle of filtration

The larger the area of the filter media in the equipment, the more dust it can accommodate and the longer the service life of the filter.

III. Service life of the filter

When a certain amount of dust has accumulated on the filtering equipment, the greater its resistance, and when the resistance becomes higher and higher or even exceeds the preset value, the effect of filtration will be greatly reduced this time, even leading to the scrapping of the equipment.
The resistance will increase with the increase of airflow, if we appropriately increase the area of the filter material, we can effectively reduce the wind speed through the filter material, to reduce the resistance when using.
The general resistance of a brand-new filter is called the initial resistance and the corresponding end-of-life resistance is the final resistance, which is usually twice as high as the initial resistance.

According to the air quality in our city to consider, such equipment as the primary filter is generally in use for three weeks to a month cleaning, two months need to be replaced with new equipment, so that not only can protect the life of the next level of equipment, for the effect of filtration is also a good guarantee.

IV, Determine the efficiency of the filter at all levels

In general, the system after the first level of equipment determines the cleanliness of the air supply, while the upstream equipment plays a protective role to protect the normal operation of the lower end of the equipment and protect the air conditioning system can work normally.

So when choosing a pre-filter, we have to consider the environment, cost, energy consumption, maintenance, and many other factors before making a decision.
For example, the clean room end of the high-efficiency filter before the efficiency specification of not less than F8 filter for protection; and the whole air conditioning system itself should be an efficient specification of not less than F5 equipment for protection.
When determining the efficiency of the filter we should pay extra attention to the fact that the performance of the final filter must be safe and reliable, the efficiency specification of the pre-filter should be reasonable and effective, and the maintenance of the primary filter and pre-filter should be simple and convenient.
