Installation steps and precautions for high efficiency filters

Installation steps and precautions for high efficiency filters

1. The clean room must be thoroughly cleaned and wiped before the installation of the HEPA filter.
If there is dust in the purified air conditioning system, it should be cleaned and wiped down again to comply with the cleanliness requirements.
If HEPA filters are installed in the technical mezzanine or suspended ceiling, they should also be thoroughly cleaned and wiped down.

2. After the clean room and clean air conditioning system have met the cleaning requirements, the clean air conditioning system must be commissioned.
for more than 12 hours of continuous operation and install the HEPA filter immediately after cleaning and wiping the clean room again.

3. The transport and storage of the HEPA filter should be set aside in the direction indicated by the manufacturer.
During transport, they should be stored carefully and gently to prevent severe vibration and impact.

4. Before installing the HEPA filter, the packaging must be unpacked at the installation site to carry out a visual inspection, including whether the filter paper, sealant, and frame are damaged; whether the edge length, diagonal and thickness dimensions are as required; whether the frame has burrs and rust spots (metal frame); whether there is a product certificate of conformity and whether the technical performance meets the design requirements.
Leak detection then continues.
Equipment that has passed the inspection and leak test should be installed immediately.
The installation should be carried out according to the resistance of each filter.
For unidirectional flow, the difference between the rated resistance of each filter and the average resistance of each filter should be less than 5% between each filter on the same air outlet or air supply surface.

5. The frame on which the HEPA filters are mounted should be flat.
The permissible deviation of the flatness of the mounting frame of each HEPA filter shall not exceed 1mm.

6. When gaskets, self-adhesive, negative pressure seals, liquid tank seals, and double ring seals are used to seal between the high-efficiency filter and the frame, the packing surface, the filter frame surface, the frame surface, and the liquid tank must be sealed. Wipe clean.

7. When using gaskets, the thickness of the gasket should not exceed 8mm and the compression rate is 25%-30%.
The form and material of the joints should be by the requirements.
When using a reservoir for sealing, the level in the reservoir must meet the design requirements and there should be no leakage at the joints of the frame.
When using a double-ring seal, do not block the holes in the ring cavity when attaching the seal; both the double-ring seal and the negative pressure seal must leave the negative pressure pipe unobstructed.

8. When installing the high-efficiency filter, the arrow on the outer frame should be in the same direction as the airflow.
For vertical installation, the folded seam of the filter paper should be perpendicular to the ground.
