How to replace the high-efficiency filter of the air shower room?

The replacement of the high-efficiency filter in the air shower room should follow the safe operation process to ensure that the cleanliness is not affected. The following are the specific steps and precautions:
1. Preparation before replacement
Shutdown and power-off
Turn off the air shower power supply to avoid electric shock or false start during operation.
Tool preparation
Phillips screwdriver, clean cloth, new high-efficiency filter (confirm the model is the same as the original filter).
Environmental cleanliness
Clean the area around the air shower in advance to reduce dust entry during the replacement process.
2. Replacement steps
Remove panel
Use a screwdriver to remove the top or side panel of the air shower (the location may vary depending on the device model).
Remove old filter
Loosen the clamping strip or screw, carefully remove the failed HEPA filter, taking care to avoid touching the surface of the filter paper.
If the filter is attached to the plenum, the edge can be separated by lightly prying it with a soft cloth.
Clean the plenum
Wipe the inside of the plenum with a clean cloth to ensure that there is no dust or debris.
Install new filter
Check the appearance of the new filter to ensure that the filter paper is intact and the sealant is intact.
Place the arrow mark of the new filter in the direction of the airflow (usually towards the air shower outlet) and place it smoothly into the static pressure tank.
Tighten the slats or screws to ensure that the filter and plenum are well-sealed without air leakage.
Test and recovery
Close the panel, switch on the power, start the air shower, and observe whether the wind speed is normal (it is recommended to use an anemometer to detect the wind speed should be ≥25m/s).
If the wind speed is insufficient, check that the filter is sealed or installed properly.
Third, precautions
Direction and seal
The arrow of the high-efficiency filter must be consistent with the direction of the airflow, otherwise it will affect the filtration effect.
Avoid touching the filter paper with your fingers during installation to prevent damage or contamination.
Replacement cycle
Under normal use, the high-efficiency filter is recommended to be replaced every 6-12 months; If the environmental cleanliness is poor or frequently used, shorten the cycle.
When the wind speed is significantly reduced (even after replacing the primary filter is still not improved), the high-efficiency filter needs to be replaced immediately.
Professional verification
After replacement, the dust particle counter can be used to detect the cleanliness to ensure compliance.
If biosafety or high-precision clean rooms are involved, it is recommended that they be operated and verified by professionals.
4. Maintenance suggestions
Synchronous inspection of the primary filter: When replacing the high-efficiency filter, it is recommended to check the primary filter (usually located at the bottom of the air shower) at the same time, and replace it if it is black or blocked.
Record the replacement information: Record the replacement time and filter model for future maintenance.
Through standardized operation, it can ensure that the air shower room continues to provide efficient purification function and ensure the environmental safety of the clean area.
