How to choose air filtration equipment for different environmental situations

Today we would like to introduce you to how we should correctly select suitable air filter equipment in different environments and occasions because the performance of the equipment varies and only proper use can bring out good results.

I. General air filtration equipment selection method

1. Medium-efficiency air filters should be set in the positive pressure section of the purification regulation.

2. High-efficiency or sub-high-efficiency air filters should be installed at the end of the purification and adjustment system.

3. Medium and high-efficiency air filters should be selected by the rated air volume or less.
 

II. In the following cases, filtration equipment should be installed separately

1. One-way flow clean room and non-one-way flow clean room.

2. High-efficiency air purification system and medium-efficiency air purification system.

3. Clean rooms with different usage times.
 

III. The air filter cannot be recycled in the following cases

1. For solid material crushing, weighing, batching, mixing, material making, tablet pressing, coating, filling, and other processes.

2. For solid oral liquid preparations such as granules and drying of finished products.

3. Equipment used in the refining and drying processes of APIs refined with organic solvents.

4. Equipment in the pathogen operation area.

5. Equipment in the radiopharmaceutical production area.

6. Equipment used in production processes that are likely to produce large amounts of harmful substances and volatile gases.
