FFU Maintenance methods and precautions

FFU Maintenance methods and precautions

(1) Reasonably arrange maintenance cycles
Generally speaking, it is recommended to perform regular maintenance once every three months, so that possible problems with the equipment can be discovered and dealt with in time, ensuring that the FFU is always in good operating condition. If the FFU is not used frequently, the maintenance interval can be appropriately extended. For example, if the FFU is only used within a specific period and the environment is relatively clean, the maintenance cycle can be extended to four months or even half a year. However, when extending the maintenance cycle, it is also necessary to pay close attention to the operating status of the equipment. Once an abnormality is discovered, inspection and maintenance should be carried out immediately.
(2) Follow professional maintenance techniques
For users who do not understand the structure of the equipment, there may be certain risks in performing maintenance on their own. Therefore, when performing maintenance, you can ask the merchant to assist or guide the operation. Merchants usually have professional knowledge and experience and can accurately determine the problem with the equipment and provide effective solutions. At the same time, you must be careful when disassembling parts to avoid damage to the equipment. For example, when disassembling the outer casing, be careful not to damage the metal protective mesh and pre-filter; when disassembling the motor and impeller, be careful not to damage the air flow balancing device and high-efficiency partition-less filter.
(3) Pay attention to filter maintenance
The filter is an important part of the FFU, and its cleanliness directly affects the filtration effect of the device. When cleaning the filter, do not use strong acid or alkali cleaners, as these cleaners may damage the material of the filter and reduce its filtration effect. Special filter cleaners can be purchased. These cleaners usually have a mild cleaning effect and can effectively remove dust and impurities on the filter without causing damage to the filter. In addition, when cleaning the filter, pay attention to following the instructions and avoid excessive cleaning or incomplete cleaning.
(4) Key points for filter replacement
Replace the filter according to the cleanliness of the environment. The initial effect is generally 1-6 months, and the high efficiency is generally 6-12 months. The high-efficiency filter cannot be cleaned. Different usage environments have a great impact on the service life of the filter. If there is a lot of dust and impurities in the use environment, the filter replacement cycle may be shortened. For example, in some clean rooms near construction sites or factories, the primary filter may need to be replaced every two months and the high-efficiency filter may need to be replaced every eight months due to the large amount of dust in the air.
Regularly measure the cleanliness with a dust particle counter, find out the cause if it is not consistent, and replace the high-efficiency filter if it fails. A dust particle counter is an instrument specifically designed to detect the number of dust particles in the air. By regularly measuring cleanliness with a dust particle counter, you can detect filter failure promptly. If the measured cleanliness does not match the required cleanliness, the reason should be identified, which may be filter leakage, failure, etc. If the high-efficiency filter fails, it should be replaced with a new filter immediately to ensure the filtration effect of the FFU.
When replacing the filter and primary filter, the machine should be stopped and the filter paper must be intact. When installing, pay attention to the airflow arrow mark and the direction of the airflow from the purification unit. When replacing the filter, be sure to stop the machine and avoid operating while the equipment is running to avoid danger. At the same time, make sure that the filter paper is intact, and do not touch the filter paper with your hands to cause damage. When installing a new filter, pay attention to the airflow arrow mark and the direction of the air outlet airflow from the purification unit. Make sure the frame is sealed and return the box cover to its original position. This can ensure the filtering effect and operating efficiency of FFU.
