Features of air filters

The quality of an air filter depends on three main aspects.

(1) Waterproof performance ;
(2) Filtration accuracy;
(3) permeability.
Specific tests are as follows.

(I) Water quality test. Place the air filter flat on the floor or on a table and sprinkle some water on the filter paper.
(1) If the filter paper leaks within 5 minutes, the air filter is made of cotton pulp paper (poor quality filter paper);
(2) If the filter paper leaks for 2-5 hours, it is made of low-grade wood pulp paper and can be used, but it will reduce the gas production efficiency of the air compressor (more electricity consumption, more gas production) belonging to the main filter;
(3) If it leaks for 12-15 hours, it belongs to the medium efficiency filter;
(4) If the water does not leak within 24 hours, it belongs to the high-efficiency filter.

(II) Observe the light to see whether the filter paper is uniform, whether the light transmission rate is good and whether the surface finish of the filter paper is good. The response is filtering precision and air permeability.

(III) Check the depth and folding of the filter paper. If the filter paper is very deep and folded more, the air filtration area is large.

In a particularly harsh environment, the user should clean the air filter once a day and replace it for 500-800 hours; customers in an environment should clean the air filter every 3-7 days for 1000-1500 hours instead of the air filter; customers in a good environment should replace the air filter every 1500-2000 hours.

What are the characteristics of the air filter?

1. The inner cavity of the air filter box adopts anodic oxidation treatment and the outer shell adopts epoxy resin powder coating.
2. The filter element adopts special leak-proof technology to ensure the filtering effect.
3. The filter element adopts imported borosilicate glass fibers.
4. The diameter of the fibers in the equipment is small and the surface is smooth.
5. It can effectively filter solid impurities and oil mist, and the air filter quickly removes oil mist.

What should I do with the filter pads of end-of-life air filters?

Before discarding the filter pads of an air filter, check if the filter pads are washable. If it is a washable filter pad, it can be used again after cleaning

Reasons for air filter foam waste: The resistance of the foam to the air will build up using the foam and the use of the foam will increase the resistance. When too much dust accumulates and the resistance is too high, the airflow through the filter will be reduced or the filter will be scraped off if it passes partially through the filter. Generally, air filters become clogged with so much dust that they cannot be filtered or the filtered air is not up to standard.

How do I dispose of air filter waste?
1. Air filter media is an environmentally friendly product and can be discarded at the end of its life.
2. Air filter cotton filter media can be incinerated with polyester fibers, and the filter cotton of air filters does not contain any harmful substances.
