(I) Fan Quality
There are certain differences in the service life of laminar flow hood fans of different brands. For example, fans produced by EBM in Germany and anti-static multi-blade turbine energy-saving fans imported from Italy have large air volume, low power consumption, low noise, low heat, and a service life of more than 100,000 hours. Some brands of fans have a working life of up to 50,000 hours or more. These high-quality fans provide a strong guarantee for the long-term stable operation of laminar flow hoods, greatly affecting the overall service life of laminar flow hoods.
(II) Filter maintenance
Filters play a vital role in laminar flow hoods and need to be replaced and cleaned regularly. In general, the filter should be checked every three months to see if it is working properly. If it is damaged or blocked, it must be replaced or cleaned in time. The good condition of the filter is one of the key factors to ensure the normal operation of the laminar flow hood. If the filter is not maintained in time, it may lead to a decrease in the air purification effect, affect the performance of the laminar flow hood, and thus shorten its service life.
(III) Equipment maintenance
Equipment maintenance is essential to extend the service life of the laminar flow hood. First, clean the surface of the laminar flow hood properly to keep it clean and tidy to avoid the accumulation of impurities that affect the performance of the equipment. Secondly, clean the air intake and water outlet regularly to ensure smooth air circulation. At the same time, replace fluorescent lamps, copper mesh, high-efficiency air filters, and other components regularly by regulations. After cleaning, close the door and wait for half an hour to stabilize the inside of the clean laminar flow hood and achieve the highest cleanliness. Through these maintenance operations, the service life of the laminar flow hood can be effectively extended to ensure that it continues to play an important role in the dust-free and sterile operating environment of various industries.
