Examples of Clean Rooms
Cleanrooms are enclosures environment which are designed for sensitive research, laboratory, operating rooms, semiconductor and many other operation or process to keep isolating with the dirt, dust, moisture and many other air pollutant. And modular cleanrooms are one of the most popular cleanrooms in the world.

Here we would like to talk about some examples about the cleanrooms which are classified by maximum allowable value of contaminants, they are class 100 clean rooms, class1,000 cleanrooms and class 10,000 cleanrooms. Following is the detail, let’s move on.

Class 100 cleanrooms allow 100 contaminants per cubic foot which is the same as ISO5 standard cleanrooms. They are best choice for applications like electricity, semiconductor, food processing and packaging. For this type of cleanroom, a pair of special shoes and a body suit are in need for the tehnicians.

Class 1,000 cleanrooms allow 1,000 contaminants per cubic foot which the same as ISO6 standard cleanrooms. They are less strict than Class100 clean room, and they can remove away particles from sources like dust, hair, skin cells, paint, lubricants and air conditione, they are widely used in laser micromachining, non-contact integration tools, flip-chip integration, and many other areas, they also requires technician to wear a full protective suit to cover all the hair and skin.

Class 10,000 clean rooms allow 10,000 contaminants per cubic foot which is the same as ISO7 cleanrooms, but do not worry about the cleanliness as they can recycle out the old air and pull fresh and clean air between 40 and 60 times once an hour. They require technicians to take some measures to keep the contaminants away from them, like shoe covers, gloves, lab coat and safety glasses.
