Eight tests to test the performance of brand new filtration equipment

Eight tests to test the performance of brand new filtration equipment

I. Clearance test: to determine whether the inner side of the cartridge has been completely removed from the contamination of impurities remaining in production.

II. Bubble method test: used to test whether there are pores in the cartridge that are larger than the filtration precision.

III. Filtration efficiency and lifetime test: the so-called filtration efficiency refers to the determination of the percentage of particles removed, and the lifetime is expressed in terms of the time when the differential pressure of the blockage test is greater than 0.07MPa.

IV. Water separation efficiency test: This is used to determine the percentage of water in the oil-water mixture separated by the equipment.

V. Filter element breakage test: this test is used to determine the rupture resistance of the filter element.

VI. Assembly breakage test: This test is used to determine the ability of the assembly to withstand the equipment.

VII. Pulsating pressure fatigue test: this test can determine the overall mechanical strength of the equipment under pulsating pressure (simulating engine start and stop).

VIII. Vibration fatigue test: This test is used to determine the mechanical strength of the equipment against vibration under normal conditions of use.
