G3, G4 is the European standard on the primary air filter aluminum frame (also known as a coarse filter) classification of the two, the European standard will be divided into primary filters G1, G2, G3, and G4, to remove particles above 5μm, the efficiency of 15%-80%, of which, the G3 particle efficiency ≥ 5.0μm, filtration efficiency of 50% ~ 70%, G4 particle efficiency ≥ 5.0μm, filtration efficiency of 70% ~ 80%, because G4 filter cotton efficiency is higher than G3 filter cotton, so we will more often use G4 filter cotton as a primary air filter. G4 particle size efficiency ≥5.0μm, filtration efficiency is 70%~ 80% because the efficiency of G4 filter cotton is higher than that of G3 filter cotton, so we will choose G4 filter cotton as the primary air filter more often.


G4 filter cotton is often made of non-woven fabric, glass fiber, and other filter materials, after pleating and fixing, to make air ducts to increase the filtration area, the border is commonly used from the economic point of view of the paper frame, the primary air filter with aluminum frame is commonly used as the pre-filtration of the central air-conditioning and centralized ventilation system, the clean return air system, the pre-filtration of the large-scale compressor, the pre-filtration of the local high-efficiency filtration device, taking into account the large wind volume and its stability, it can be used as the pre-filtration of the metal wire mesh. Considering the large air volume and its stability, metal wire mesh can also be used to clamp or increase the support of the keel frame, and the metal frame can be used to make special filter equipment with a plate structure.
