I. Use environment and design of equipment

1、Applicable temperature: ≤60℃ within normal temperature.

2、Applicable humidity: the lower the better ≤20%.

3、Designed line speed range: ≤2m/s.

4、Sorption and recovery wind speed: 0.2m/s--0.3 m/s.

5、Recommended gas residence time after ACF: ≥1 sec.

6、Absorption time: according to different concentrations, the air volume and air speed to decide.

II. Calculation of ACF dosage by the known use environment

1、Working time: 8 hours/day.

2、Air volume: 10000 cubic meters/hour.

3、Absorption object: xylene.

4、Import concentration: 500 p.p.m./g.

5、Export concentration: 80 p.p.m./g.

6、First calculate the daily xylene volatilization: working time * air volume * (import concentration - export concentration) = 8 hours * 10000 cubic meters / hour * (500 - 80) p.p.g. = 33.6㎏.

7、Static adsorption rate of xylene adsorption is 45%.

8、Dynamic adsorption rate: 35%, i.e. 1㎏ ACF can adsorb 0.35㎏ xylene under dynamic working conditions.

9、The amount of xylene volatilized is 33.6㎏ per day, and the amount of ACF needed is calculated as 33.6/0.35㎏=96㎏.

III. Scope of application of the equipment
