Correct daily operation of VHP pass box

Correct daily operation of VHP pass box

Preparation before use
Before using the hydrogen peroxide (VHP) pass box, conduct a comprehensive and detailed inspection of the equipment. First, check whether the switch of the pass box, including various control buttons and indicator lights, can work properly to ensure that they function normally without poor contact or damage. At the same time, carefully check the glass of the pass box to see whether there are scratches, cracks, or stains on its surface because the integrity and cleanliness of the glass are essential for observing the internal items and maintaining the sealing of the pass box. In addition, check the cleanliness of the inside and around the pass box, and remove possible dust, debris, etc., to prevent contamination of items during the transfer process.
Precautions during operation
When using the VHP pass box, strictly follow the relevant operating specifications. Operators should disinfect their hands to avoid bringing bacteria or other contaminants into the pass box. During the process of passing items, pay special attention to the order of closing the doors. Usually, the door on the side where the items are placed should be closed first, and after the purification procedures such as hydrogen peroxide fumigation are completed, the door on the other side should be opened to take out the items, to ensure that the clean environment in the pass box is not disturbed by the outside world. At the same time, be careful during operation to avoid accidentally getting your arms or fingers stuck in the door gap or other gaps of the pass box, which may not only cause personal injury but also affect the normal use and sealing of the pass box.
Avoid operating errors
To ensure the normal operation and service life of the VHP pass box, some common operating errors must be avoided. When operating the handle of the pass box, do not force it to turn, so as not to damage the connection structure between the handle and the internal transmission device. At the same time, do not use improper force, and open and close the door according to the operating force designed for the pass box. In addition, avoid irregular rotation movements, such as twisting the handle quickly or violently. These incorrect operations may cause wear or dislocation of the mechanical parts inside the pass box, which in turn affects the sealing and overall performance of the pass box.
