What is the difference between high-efficiency air supply vents and FFU?
    People who are engaged in the purification industry should be familiar with high-efficiency air supply vents. It is one of the most commonly used equipment at the end of the clean room. As FFU and FFU, it is quite different. So what are the differences between them?

3. Structure of high-efficiency air supply outlet and FFU fan filter unit:
    A. The high-efficiency air supply outlet is a non-powered device and needs to be equipped with an air duct.

    1. High-efficiency air supply port static pressure box. 2. Flange. 3. High-efficiency filter. 4. Air outlet diffuser.
    B. The FFU fan filter unit is composed of an air supply box, a flange, an air deflector, a fan, and a high-efficiency filter. It is a purification equipment with a power device and can be used alone or connected to an air duct.
Understand that FFU is structurally divided into integral type, split type, and filter bottom type. Each of the three methods has its advantages; but from a long-term development perspective, the split-type fan is more suitable for future development. It is not only installation Maintenance and maintenance are more convenient, and the usage rate of the product is greatly improved, making the product more energy-saving and environmentally friendly. According to the way of electricity consumption, it can be divided into AC motor FFU and DC motor FFU.

    FFU's various optional accessories also determine the price of FFU: optional air inlet primary filter, air inlet pipe, remote control, differential pressure gauge, and other optional accessories.
    When selecting FFU, attention should be paid to the operational relationship between the FFU static pressure value and the pressure loss of the clean room system.
    Generally, the FFU manufacturing factory only installs the FFU with a high-efficiency filter, and then measures the air volume and power consumption data in an open space. The pressure loss of the FFU at this time is only about 100~150Pa (only the impedance of the HEPA high-efficiency filter), which is much lower than The actual pressure loss impedance value of a clean room is 170~220Pa. Therefore, although the measured air volume and power consumption data can reach the standard values, after the actual installation in the clean room, the impedance of the raised floor, cooling coil, air duct, pipeline, etc. will change. Increase, the performance of FFU is reduced and it cannot meet the requirements of a clean room.
