Cleaning and precautions for air filters

An air filter is an air filtration device, generally used in clean workshops, clean plants, clean operating rooms, laboratories, and clean rooms, or for dust control of electronic machinery communication equipment, etc. Widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, electric power, machinery, light industry, textile, automobile manufacturing, electronics, food, medicine, biochemical, national defense, scientific research, and other industries and sectors that require compressed air purification.

Air filter cleaning method steps.
1. For the filter surface is not very dirty, the filter will be taken outdoors with clean compressed air double-sided blowing and washing, blowing and washing until no dust particles are seen under the finished line with the eyes.

2. When the surface of the filter is very dirty, it needs to be washed with water. In the general area of the water production room (air conditioning room) with a trough with about 100 pounds of cited water, will be 1 pound bottle of detergent diluted, the filter into the trough to be fully submerged in water. Carry on rinsing several times, to no dirt, the end of rinsing with water until the water is clear, take out on the stainless steel grille floor mop empty dry water, and then lay flat on the shelf shade dry, cool sun to double-sided diligent turn to speed up the drying speed.

3. Every day, use a rag to clean the outer surface of the air conditioning box and the attached pipelines and instruments to make the equipment clean and bright.
4. To the equipment on the oil, glue, use a rag jiao detergent to wipe away, then wipe clean with water, leaving no trace.

5. After each replacement of the primary and intermediate efficiency filters, the internal wall plate of the air conditioning unit, the fan, the heater, the cooler, the diffuser, and the flow plate should be thoroughly cleaned, wiped clean of dust, dirt and oil stains, and no dead corners should be left, and then the primary and intermediate efficiency filters should be installed.

6. Once every half month, the interior of the system should be cleaned, first with a wet rag to wipe the interior, and then with a dry rag for a comprehensive cleaning.

7. When replacing the high-efficiency filter, the four frames and the surrounding area where the filter is installed should be wiped clean with a wet clean rag and repeated three times, and the high-efficiency filter should be installed immediately after wiping. The high-efficiency filter should be dismantled on-site and installed immediately after passing inspection to prevent dust from falling into the high-efficiency filter.

8. When the number of suspended particles in the clean room is exceeded and the final air volume of the high-efficiency filter is reduced to less than 70% of the initial air volume.

9. After the high-efficiency filter has been replaced, the dust particle counter carries out a leak detection on the high-efficiency filter and the installation connection. At the same time of scanning inspection, tighten the bolts or plug the leaks with epoxy resin silicone.

10. The testing and replacement of high-efficiency filters should be recorded in time.

11. After the high-efficiency filter is replaced, a leak detection test should be carried out and verified.

Precautions for air filter cleaning.
1. After the filter cloth is cleaned, if the initial resistance value of the filter is lower than the initial resistance value when this filter is ranked as the previous that time of installation and use, it shall not be used and shall be replaced in time; the filter shall be replaced even if the differential pressure value is greater than the initial value after 2 times of cleaning.

2. When taking the high-efficiency filter, the box should be lifted upside down to make the high-efficiency filter fall smoothly to the ground.

3. The filter should be checked for damage after cleaning and replaced in time if any.

4. The cleaning process of primary and secondary filters should not be confused and should be numbered to distinguish.

5. Each air purification system should have a spare set of filters so that they can be replaced in time for cleaning.
