Characteristics of laminar flow hoods

Characteristics of laminar flow hoods

(I) Compact structure
The laminar flow hood is mainly composed of a box, a fan, a high-efficiency air filter, a damping layer, lamps, etc., and the structural design is very compact. Its outer shell is mostly made of stainless steel, which has the advantages of never rusting, corrosion resistance, lightness, and firmness. This material is not only beautiful and generous, but also easy to clean and disinfect, and can effectively maintain the cleanliness of the laminar flow hood. The laminar flow hood can be suspended above the process point which requires high cleanliness, or it can be supported on the ground, which is very convenient to use. For example, in some workshops with limited space, the suspended laminar flow hood can make full use of the space without occupying the ground position, providing a local clean environment for production operations.
(II) Multiple styles
The laminar flow hood has a variety of styles to meet the needs of different scenarios. There are two types of fans, internal and external, and the installation methods include hanging and floor-standing types. In addition, multiple laminar flow hoods can be combined into a strip-shaped clean area to provide a continuous high-clean environment for large production areas. This flexibility enables the laminar flow hood to adapt to complex production environments. For example, in an electronic manufacturing workshop, different production links may require different laminar flow hoods. Through a reasonable combination of installation methods, the cleanliness requirements of the entire seminar can be achieved.
(III) Superior performance
High cleanliness: dust with a particle size of ≥0.5m in the working area is ≤3.5 particles/liter (FS209E100 level), which can provide an extremely clean environment for precision production. In the pharmaceutical, electronic, and other industries, high cleanliness can effectively prevent product contamination and ensure product quality.
Low noise: The low noise level of ≤64 Db (A) will not interfere with the production environment. In some production links that require a quiet environment, such as the testing of electronic chips, low-noise laminar flow hoods can ensure that operators can concentrate on their work and improve production efficiency.
Uniform wind speed: The average wind speed is 0.3 to 0.55m/s. It adopts a special flow channel and flow equalization system design, the wind pressure is evenly diffused, and the wind speed on the air outlet is uniform and stable. This allows clean air to flow steadily through the working area and effectively remove pollutants.
Low investment, quick results, easy installation, and low operating costs: Compared with civil construction or prefabricated Class 100 clean rooms, laminar flow hoods have obvious advantages. They do not require large-scale civil engineering, are easy and quick to install, and can be put into use in a short time. At the same time, they have low operating costs, save electricity and energy, and save costs for enterprises. For example, in some small pharmaceutical companies or electronic processing plants, the use of laminar flow hoods can reduce investment costs and operating costs while meeting cleanliness requirements.
