Can primary filters be cleaned?

In the process of using a primary filter, can we choose to clean it without changing the filter material?

The primary effect filter, also known as the primary filter, is suitable for the primary filtration of the air conditioning system, mainly used for filtering dust particles above 5 microns. There are three types of primary filters: plate type, folding type, and bag type. The outer frame materials are the paper frame, aluminum frame, and galvanized iron frame. The filter materials are non-woven fabric, nylon mesh, activated carbon filter material, metal mesh, and so on. The protective screen has double-sided sprayed wire mesh and double-sided galvanized wire mesh. The main reason for this is robustness and cost savings. Due to the metal frame, only the internal filter elements need to be replaced as long as the filtration life is reached, thus saving costs.

Primary filters are frames made of metal material. Theoretically, the choice of filter material is essentially the same as for disposable paper frames. Metal frames are limited in structure and cost. Nonwoven fabrics are often used as filter material for primary filters with metal frames. It should be noted, however, that some users always ask the filter manufacturer to use washable filter material. In principle, as soon as any filter material is washed (including rinsing), its filtration performance is greatly reduced and therefore all parameters deteriorate, which in severe cases will lead directly to the rejection of the filter. Even if some filter materials can be washed, the cost of filtration will be severely reduced. It is not recommended to sacrifice the filtration performance for the longevity of this method of killing the filter, and the correct way to use the filter is to replace it.

The primary effect filter adopts non-woven fabric and glass fiber as the filter material, wedge folding, and shaping to increase the filtration area, metal wire mesh clamping or built-in metal frame support, and metal frame, which is made into a flat plate structure. The utility model has the advantages of low resistance, long life, washable, economical, and durable. Primary coarse effect air filters are generally used for the pre-filtration of central air conditioning and central ventilation systems and, the pre-filtration of gas turbines and air compressors. The structure of primary effect air filters is generally divided into keel skeleton and skeleton skeleton. The keel skeleton is characterized by an even and uniform distribution of filter material but is expensive to produce. The frame skeleton is characterized by easy replacement of filter material, time-saving, and slightly less strong than the keel skeleton.

Activated carbon filters can be washed non-woven fabric, activated carbon, synthetic fiber, chemical fiber (imported), glass fiber (imported), or polyamide convex mesh (nylon mesh). Commonly used are non-woven fabric and glass fiber. Efficiency can be coarse or medium efficiency.
