Basic technology and performance of activated carbon filtration equipment

Basic technology and performance of activated carbon filtration equipment

I. Technical parameters of the equipment

1、Working pressure: 0.05MPa--0.6MPa

2、Working temperature: 5℃--40℃

3、Cartridge interface: flat press type, insert type

4、Filtration precision: 3μm--100μm

5、Cartridge length: 10"-50"

6、Flow rate: 0.1m3/h--300m3/h

7、Material: 304, 316L, Q235 rubber-lined

II. Performance characteristics of the equipment

1、Filtration precision is guaranteed, and the aperture is very uniform;

2、Low resistance of operation, large flow, strong dirt-holding capacity, and long service life;

3、High cleanliness of the filter element, no pollution;

4、It has the special performance of acid and alkali resistance;

5、Low cost of equipment, low cost of use, in which the cartridge can also be replaced;

6、The equipment is often used as a necessary device in the process of electrodialysis, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, etc.

III. Working principle of the equipment

Activated carbon air filters are generally made of formed filter material.
When the sewage is filtered through the filter material, the impurities will be intercepted on the screen, and the clean filtrate will flow out through the filter material to achieve the purpose of purification and filtration.
As the filter material used in the equipment varies, the pore size of the filter is of course also very different, generally speaking, the pore size in the range of 0.1 - 120 μm is more suitable.

After the filter has been set up correctly, it can be used to remove extremely fine particles from the liquid and to meet the requirements of the subsequent processes for the incoming water, although sometimes it can also be set up at the end of the system to prevent fine particles from entering the water.
The following cartridges are available: 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 0.8, 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 75, 100, and 120 μm.
