About Clean Bench

A clean bench is a kind of air-clean equipment to provide a local dust-free and sterile working environment and can be contaminated air in the work area through a special filtering channel can be artificially controlled emissions, and reduce or avoid experiments produced by pollution of the environment, and personnel damage. Therefore, the clean bench is widely used in biological laboratories, medical and health hospitals and biopharmaceutical plants, and other places. The clean bench test can not only meet some specific clean demand conditions but also can protect the operator from contamination, to improve product quality as well as ensure that the rate of finished products also has certain results.

A clean environment is formed by the flow of clean air (filtered air) in a specific space and a set direction. In terms of airflow direction, existing clean workstations can be divided into vertical, inside-out, and sideways. The vertical type is superior in terms of operating quality and environmental impact. The clean air supplied by the air supply filter plate descends through the operating area at a specific speed, separates at about the middle of the operating area, and is sucked away by the front air intake holes and the rear suction window. The air intake in the front and rear of the lower part of the operating area of the clean bench mixes and is pumped by the blower into the rear positive pressure area, and in the upper part of the machine, 30 percent of the gases are discharged from the top using the exhaust filter plate, and about 70 percent of them are re-entered into the operating area using the oxygen supply filter plate. oxygen supply filter plate back into the operating area. To supplement the air coming out of the clean bench exhaust, the same volume of air is supplemented from the room air through the operating ports. This air never enters the operating area but forms an air barrier.
