A detailed explanation of the working principle of the bottom-detachable FFU

1. The process of the fan sucking air from the top.
The fan of the bottom-detachable FFU sucks air from the top, just like the ordinary FFU, using the strong suction of the fan to form a certain negative pressure area around, so that the air is continuously sucked into the equipment. This process is fast and efficient. According to actual application data, in some specific working environments, the bottom-detachable FFU can inhale a large amount of air in a short time, providing a sufficient air source for subsequent filtration and purification. For example, in a semiconductor manufacturing workshop, the bottom-detachable FFU can inhale thousands of cubic meters of air per hour to ensure that the air quality in the workshop is always maintained at a high cleanliness level.
2. The filtering mechanism of the high-efficiency filter.
After the air is inhaled, it immediately enters the high-efficiency filter for filtration. The high-efficiency filter of the bottom-detachable FFU uses advanced filter materials, which can effectively intercept dust particles in the air. As mentioned in the material, the fibers in the filter material form countless barriers. When the moving particles hit the obstacle, the van der Waals force between the particles and the obstacle surface makes them stick together. The filtration efficiency is different for particles of different sizes. Particles smaller than 0.1um mainly diffuse, and the smaller the particle, the higher the efficiency; particles larger than 0.5um mainly move by inertia, and the larger the particle, the higher the efficiency. Between 0.1 and 0.3um, there is a minimum efficiency point, and dust of this particle size is the most difficult to filter. The high-efficiency filter of the bottom-detachable FFU can effectively filter particles of various particle sizes to ensure that the cleanliness of the delivered air meets the requirements.
3. The way to evenly deliver clean air.
The clean air filtered by the high-efficiency filter will be evenly delivered through a special air outlet design. The bottom-detachable FFU usually adopts the design of an internal diffuser plate to make the wind pressure diffuse evenly and the wind speed on the air outlet surface stable on average. The wind speed on the air outlet surface is generally maintained at 0.45m/s±20%. This wind speed can ensure that the clean air can be quickly diffused to the entire space without causing excessive air flow disturbances that affect the working environment. For example, in the production workshop of the optical industry, the uniform clean air delivered by the bottom-detachable FFU can effectively prevent dust from contaminating the optical components and ensure the quality and precision of the products. At the same time, the uniform air supply of the bottom-detachable FFU can also provide a comfortable working environment for the staff and reduce the discomfort caused by unstable airflow.
