Benefits of laminar flow hoods
Benefits of laminar flow hoods(I) Efficient air purificationLaminar flow hoods can pass air through high-efficiency filters at a certain wind speed, inhale outdoor air from the top, and after being filtered and purified by high-efficiency filters, supply it vertically downward to the working area to form a uniform flow layer. Such a design can ensure high cleanliness in the working area, such as cleanliness can reach Class 100, providing ISO 5 (Class 100) one-way flow air for key regions. Taking the pneumonia vaccine workshop of a listed vaccine company as an example, laminar flow hoods are used in the centrifugal room, ultrafiltration room, precipitation room, and extraction precipitation room, which effectively ensures the safety of vaccine production. (II) Low noise and uniform wind speed Laminar flow hoods are designed with special flow channels and uniform flow systems and have the characteristics of low noise, generally less than 65dB (A). At the same time, by adjusting the fan working conditions, the average wind speed in the clean working area can be kept within the rated range, usually 0.35 - 0.54m/s, and the wind speed is uniform and stable. A stainless steel anemometer detects the wind speed, and the controller keeps the fan wind speed constant at the set value to ensure stable and reliable airflow in the work area. (III) Flexible and diverse usage methods Laminar flow hoods can be used alone or connected to form a strip-shaped clean area to meet the clean needs of different scales. There are two installation methods: hanging type and floor-standing bracket type, which can be selected according to the site and needs. In addition, non-standard products can be made according to customer needs to adapt to various special usage scenarios. For example, in precision machinery, electronics, pharmaceuticals, food, fine chemicals, and other departments, the flexible use of laminar flow hoods provides convenience for different production processes. (IV) Energy saving and environmental protection Laminar flow hoods have the advantages of low investment, quick results, low requirements for factory building construction, easy installation, and power saving. Compared with a separate clean room, it is not only low in cost but also energy-saving and power-saving. In long-term use, it can save a lot of costs for the enterprise. For example, installing laminar flow hoods in new clean rooms and clean plant renovations is more effective when used with clean rooms, reducing the construction and operation costs of the enterprise. (V) Convenient maintenance and cleaning The maintenance of laminar flow hoods is relatively simple and convenient. The key points of maintenance include regular replacement of high-efficiency filters. Generally, the filters should be checked every three months to see if they are working properly. If they are damaged or blocked, they need to be replaced or cleaned, and records and reports should be made to relevant departments promptly. At the same time, the electrical circuits should be checked to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. The mask of the laminar flow hood should be removed and cleaned once a week with injection water and then wiped with 35% alcohol for easy cleaning. When the air supply volume and air pressure cannot make the wind speed > 0.2m/s, the filter should be replaced. When replacing the filter, open the mask plate of the laminar flow hood, loosen the fixing bolts, replace it, press and fix it, and reinstall the mask plate. |
